The Feliciana Preserve includes 119 acres of forested land located about 35 miles north of Baton Rouge . The preserve is co-owned by four current or former LSU faculty members and is managed by the Feliciana Preserve Landowner Assoc., a private foundation, in which the landowners are members. The land is protected from development, hunting, and other non-natural disturbances through a conservation easement held by the Nature Conservancy of Louisiana.
